Craft Beer Available in Historic Fenway

Fenway BeerIt’s the top of the ninth and the Sox are up one. The bases are loaded with a three-and-two count… and the pitch… strike three swinging!!! The bench empties out to the center of the diamond to celebrate a hard fought victory. What is missing in this picture? CRAFT BEER!

With the Boston Red Sox season opener in the Bronx just a week away, it is time to start thinking about where you plan on enjoying some craft beer while rooting for the Sox in their first of 18 meetings with the Yanks. Do not be discouraged when the home opener rolls around the following week as the Sox host the Baltimore Orioles; you can enjoy some of New England’s finest craft beers right at Fenway.

Featured on tap to start the season will be Wachusett Green Monsta, Wachusett Blueberry, Cisco Whale’s Tale, Magic Hat #9, and Smuttynose IPA. You will be able to purchase these great beers in various locations in and around the ball park: Yawkey Way, the right field concessions, centerfield “big concourse,” the State Street Pavilion, the EMC Club, and in all suites.

No longer must you suffer through nine innings of painful sips of craftless beer at Fenway. It will certainly be a special moment as Jackie Bradley Jr. blasts his first home run over the Green Monster as you celebrate with a gulp of Wachusett Green Monsta. Bostonians take pride in their sports and they also take pride in their beer, it is only right to bring the two together.

While at Fenway this year tag your photos on Instagram and Twitter with the #CraftMass hashtag and I will feature my favorites each month! Follow me on Twitter @Tommy_Hops and @CraftMass.
